    Default Uromastyx Substrate

I have three Uromastyx and am having some trouble trying to find millet seed for them. Does anyone have any info on where to obtain this at a decent price, locally if possible? Thank you for any help!

Most feed stores should have it in 50 lb. bags, although you'd have to check each store for quality...some suggestions would be Pratts Feed in Glendale, Stockman's Feed in West Valley, Ray's Feed on Central/Baseline, and The Feed Barn in Northeast....just as starters....

You can get millet at sprouts...right now it is 99cents a pound. Otherwise, you can get it at feed stores as Nick stated.

I keep my uros on good ol' AZ dirt and provide them with a food dish with seeds. I know Doug Dix keeps uros on millet, which works....but I just don't like that because the uros will poop on the seeds and then eat the seeds.

What kind of uros did you get?

    Great! Thank you both!
We have Mali Uro's. Love them! Dirt does sound like a good alternative, thanks for the idea!
