The AHA is a non-profit organization funded by donations and membership dues. Our goals are to:

  • Foster an environment where people can appreciate reptiles & amphibians as a community

Reptile Removal

The AHA offers the public a reptile removal service. Several members volunteer to remove unwanted reptiles from homes and offices. Please call the hotline at: (480) 894-1625.

General Meetings

Date/Time:

The AHA general meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of every month at 7:30 PM. Informal swap meet starts at 7:00 PM. These meetings offer guest speakers or slide presentations on a variety of reptile and amphibian related subjects. AHA members have the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with other reptile enthusiasts.

Location:

General Meetings are held at the Phoenix Zoo! The Phoenix Zoo is located at 455 North Galvin Parkway. The entrance to the Zoo is off Galvin Parkway in the heart of Papago Park, between McDowell and Van Buren (Priest Drive turns into Galvin Parkway just north of Van Buren). MAP

Board Meetings

The AHA Board meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7:30 PM. All members are also invited to attend the board Meetings.

Location:

Board meetings are held at the IHOP restaurant on Dobson & Main in Mesa.
